We celebrate 10 years of making bikes with our most extensive range to date. Following the release of the hugely successful R7 and C7 urban range we are delighted to add 3 CX bikes, The Saxon Cross, Charing Cross and Kings Cross. The Saxon Cross is the CX race bike specced with knobbly's and race ready equipment, we will have racers at "The Peaks" this year competing on what we believe is a unique proposition. The Charing and Kings Cross bikes are urbanised CX bikes, complete with rack and guard mounts and are targeted at the commuter, tourer or utility rider who wants a capable bike for all terrains and wishes both speed and comfort. The relaxed geometry is not typically CX in style and comes from our MTB heritage, we believe they are bikes you can truly ride off-road on technical terrain! All are disc equipped! At £1299 for the Saxon, £999 for the Tiagra Charing Cross and £799 for the Sora equipped Kings Cross we have 3 unique bikes at competitive price points. The acclaimed T120 returns with some excellent upgrades including a larger rear shock for a more linear ride, 30.9 seat tube for greater gravity dropper choice. Upgraded m6 front triangle shaving 680 grams off the 2011 model and tubeless ready - all for under 2K New for 2012 is the Whyte 146 X, Kashima equipped, 1 x 10 ultimate trail bike, Monocoque frame, 150 mm of travel complete with Easton Haven Carbon wheels, reverb post and the new e-13 light weight trail chain device...24.8lb out of the box all for £4999, under 5K for super bling! This is our flag ship MTB which is already selling through very well so get orders in now! Descend like a DH bike, climb like an XC bike! The 829 is our 1st venture into large wheels, this is a Aluminium bike (carbon 29er to follow soon). The bike has trail geometry with excellent mud clearance and is complete with many UK features including rear adjustability, crud catcher mounts and continuous cabling, we believe the bike offers all the larger wheel benefits of traction but without compromising on stability and handling. Specced with the new XT 3 x 10 groupset and Fox f100 RL evolution fork this is a bench mark XC package. The 20c Carbon hardtail continues our tradition of making super lightweight and strong XC race bikes but with geometry that can be ridden with confidence on the trail. Strong and compliant in all the correct places, the bike is super stiff and super comfortable. Slimmed down rear seat stays offer comfort and by housing the rear caliper inbound we have made the rear stays thinner in order to save weight. The 20c is even lighter than the previous incarnation the 19c and will be raced by the Whyte team and Billy Whenman across the season! Whyte Bikes
